This project formed the final submission for my MA in Graphic Design. I developed a number of products under the brand “FlexiClass” for early years classrooms, specifically designed with inclusivity in mind.

COLORUG is a flexible floor space which allows teachers to easily change seating positions and create small groups. By sitting or standing on different colours on COLORUG, the positions of the children in the classroom will change along with their perspective – this could be a circle, rows facing the front or small groups which allows teachers to be more strategic about who each student sits with.

I worked in collaboration with the American Community School, Amman to design and prototype COLORUG with teachers and early years students.

In addition, I developed COLORUG Outdoors which takes this same concept and transforms into portable mats which can be used in PE or recess.
